17 Oct 2019 Autumn moths

Autumn is a cherished season for garden moth-era. Some of our very favourite moths emerge then. Who needs winged rarity when you have such delights as Brick (new for garden - and I've had two in a few days), Merveille du Jour (the 1100th moth of #MyMothYear), Blair's Shoulder-knot, The MallowBrindled Green, Black Rustic, Brown-spot Pinion, Red-green Carpet, Beaded Chestnut, Large Ranunculus and Green-brindled Crescent. Lovely creatures, the lot of them.
